Square Enix has plans to purchase a majority stake in Tecmo, offering Tecmo
shareholders a 30% premium over the firm's Aug. 28 closing price. If Tecmo agrees,
it would remain under the Square Enix Holdings umbrella, retaining its brand
name and corporate structure...

Square Enix Says No FF XIII PC

We've just received an e-mail from Square Enix, clarifying a misunderstanding
regarding their upcoming project Final Fantasy XIII. Sorry to say this people,
but it appears they haven't made any plans to bring the game to the PC. Here's
what they said in the e-mail:
"Although the game is being developed using PC-based development
tools, it is not coming to the PC."
According to Square Enix, the game will be available for the PlayStation 3
and Xbox 360.
