In case you missed our news report last week, Team Ninja's upcoming action adventure Ninja Gaiden 2 is going to hit stores across Europe on June 6, 2008, according to UK retailer GAME. We've also reported that US gamers will be able to get their hands on a playable demo next month...

Word reached us that UK retailer GAME disclosed the European release date for Team Ninja's upcoming action adventure Ninja Gaiden 2. It seems gamers across Europe will be able to purchased the game as of June 6, 2008. The excellent Ninja Gaiden series is getting a sequel as you know. The good news from Team Ninja is that they plan to release a demo for Ninja Gaiden II (X360) on Xbox Live sometime in May. The game is supposed to hit the streets on June 3. So it's a pre-launch demo, the kind we feel gives a very positive sign about the quality of the game and the confidence of the developer (and the publisher) in their product.

Another Xbox 360 exclusive made its way to the GDC event this year. Ninja Gaiden 2 was previously announced for a June release, though without a specific date. Now we know that the game is scheduled to launch worldwide on June 3.
