I'm suitably turned on, how about you guys? What you just saw was the official trailer for the new chapter in the Halo saga. It's actually prequel to Bungie's Halo 3 and gives players a chance to experience some of the events that lead up the story told in the third installment of the popular 360-exclusive shooter - so it's transpires between Halo 2 and Halo 3...

Bungie posted a Halo-related teaser (yet again) on the development studio's official web site. The company is planning an announcement, obviously, and from what it looks like, we are going to get more content for Halo 3. They've released a teaser trailer, albeit it doesn't go much into detail; it just says: "High action and deep mystery await players in this new Halo 3 campaign experience. Prepare to drop!" I'm sure you've all heard about the possibility of Halo 4. Well, as reported earlier, Bungie is in fact getting a bit tired of the whole Halo shebang and are eagerly working on three projects. They were also hoping to divulge more info about their new game, but MS decided to put a stop to that announcement just before this year's E3 kicked off...

Bungie, the makers of Halo 1, 2 and 3 are at present working on three different projects. "At the moment we do have three distinct projects underway within Bungie - some familiar, some not. Some on a closer horizon, some quite far off," the company said...

The people at Bungie appreciates what Ensemble Studios has done with the upcoming real-time strategy Halo Wars. Bungie's Damian Isla revealed that Ensemble Studios "really understood what things Halo is known for." Bungie has at least three new projects currently in the works, although they won't be making any big announcements in the near future, as reported by GI. As you probably know by now, the development studio eagerly planned to reveal a new project at the E3, but was stopped by MS at the last minute and that didn't make the folks at Bungie very happy...

Bungie's still very much quiet about its new project, which we have talked about quite a lot lately. It could be a new Halo game (without the Master Chief) or it could the introduction of the company's new IP. Either way, it seems we'll know more soon enough. The developer's official web site now features a mysterious countdown, obviously referring to the impending announcement. We'll let you know the moment we find out more.

Blizzard and BioWare aren't the only developers teasing us with promises of a new project. Now, Bungie has joined in, hinting that the developer will be making a huge announcement next week -- July 14th, to more precise -- during the E3.
